Board Officers
Ernie Lombard President
Ernie is a native of Oconee County and a resident of Mountain Rest, as well as a registered nurse.
Ilona Meeks Vice-President
Ilona resides in Westminster and retired from Bank of America (Technologies & Operations) and the US Army Reserves. She volunteers at Our Daily Bread, and is a member of the American Legion Post 124 Walhalla.
Dennis Taylor Secretary
Dennis retired as Clemson University Archivist and Records Officer in 2018. He holds master’s degrees in History and Library Science, and is past president of the South Carolina Archival Association. A Georgia native, he has lived in Oconee County since 1986.
Patsy Earnhardt Treasurer
Patsy is a resident of Salem. She works for Duke Energy as Project Manager.

LaMarr Brooks
LaMarr is an active genealogist, retired Engineering teacher, Robotics coach, and residential home designer living in Oconee County.
Sherry Moore
Sherry is a lifelong resident of Oconee County and has been actively employed as a registered nurse for 33 years where she served on many committees. She serves her community through missions from church.
Chanda Morrison
Chanda lives in Mountain Rest. She worked for Visit Oconee SC for twelve years handling their website and digital newsletter. She works freelance with clients including Lake Hartwell Country and Upstate Lake Living magazine. Chanda is a community advocate helping promote happenings in Long Creek & Mountain Rest.
Bryan Oliver
Bryan, a native of Oconee County, resides in Walhalla where he owns an old family farm which is also registered as a SC Century Farm. The farm, located in the Bear Swamp community, was purchased in 1909 and was an active cotton farm during the Great Depression. He holds degrees from Greenville Tech and the University of South Carolina. Bryan provides emergency medical care as a critical care paramedic for the upstate of South Carolina and northeast Georgia.
Quientell Walker Ex-Officio
Quientell is the Local History Associate of the Oconee County Public Library system. He previously worked as the Genealogy and Local History Librarian of the Pickens County Library System, and is formerly the president of the Old Pendleton District Genealogical Society.
