Learn how our state got its shape as well as all things South Carolina!  This fun day coincides with our temporary exhibit, The Shaping of South Carolina, on loan from the South Carolina Historical Society.  Campers will learn about geography, surveying, and all the things that make South Carolina a wonderful place to live!

Oconee Appalachian Kids, also known as OAK, is an educational program at the Oconee Heritage Center for children ages 6 through 12.  This summer, the OHC will offer four different day camps that connect to the rich history and heritage of Oconee County.  Camp fees include craft supplies and other materials for the day as well as snacks that will be distributed during each camp.  Campers need to wear comfortable clothing and bring sunscreen and bug spray, if necessary.
