We are fortunate in Oconee County to have a rare plant species to grow here, the Oconee Bell. We will be meeting at Devils Fork State Park for Bellfest, a celebration of this wonderful plant! We will be taking a hike along the Oconee Bell Trail to see this plant, then we will enjoy a talk with Patrick McMillan, Director of the South Carolina Botanical Garden, about the Oconee Bell.
Admission to Devils Fork State Park is $5 for adults, $3 for children
Make sure to wear outdoor appropriate clothing and footwear, if you partake in the hike.
