Author Tony Deaton will visit Oconee Heritage Center to sign his book Ain’t Had So Much Fun Since Uncle Quentin Died
Although classically trained in opera, Tony Deaton remains a country boy at heart, with deep roots in southern rural culture. In this book, set in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Oconee County, South Carolina, he shares his journey from humble beginnings with a strict father, rigid church teachings, and racial prejudice, to a life of freedom, happiness, and personal fulfillment.
Books will be available for purchase during this event.
