In 2010, the “Rocky Mountain Road” quilt block at Oconee History Museum became the FIRST installation along the Upstate Heritage Quilt Trail. However, the Easter 2020 tornado and straight line wind event in Oconee County caused segments of our quilt block to fall from the building. Unfortunately, due to their age, the pieces cannot be repaired and so the entire quilt block must be remade. Please help us replace our beautiful quilt block so that our building can sleep warm and snug at night.
